A feis is an opportunity for dancers of a like age and grade to compete against each other in an open arena. Feis is an irish word and when translated means ‘festival’.
The feis often has live musicians and will most definitely have a live audience.
Dancers at a feis represent their own dance class and can travel from all over the world to participate.

Results are grouped together and given out at the end of a session. Only the names of the first place winners are called so listen up for your number. If the competition is danced for a perpetual trophy remember to 'sign' for it side stage as it will need to be returned the following year.
